Medical providers make abortion easy
I am so happy that my mother did not read editorials supporting Planned Parenthood.
The reality of this situation is that doctors and nurses have become the judge and jury with pregnancies. If the medical staff refused to perform abortions, many women would have to be more responsible and give life as their own mothers did.
How many future Einsteins or Mozarts end up floating in formalin in a pint-size plastic containers because the medical staff made it easy for the abortion to take place?

Runners responsible to train, run safely
I read the articles in the paper pointing fingers and blame on Chicago Marathon race organizers and the city. I have not read or heard a word about the runners' responsibility.
Why do they enter when they are not conditioned to "run" the distance? This is supposed to be a "race," not a walk in the park. And what about common sense, like stopping if you are thirsty and there is no water? Or if you are feeling overheated?
Have people become machines with no ability to reason and take responsibility for their actions? Are we put here only to be individuals waiting for the opportunity to sue?
