Meetings set to help explain Kane grants

Kane County organizations and municipalities can learn about local funding opportunities during four public forums next month.

The meetings advance the county's 2008 Community Investment Initiatives, which include grants through the Riverboat Fund Program and Community Development Fund Program.

Attendees will hear about qualifications and guidelines for each program, get the chance to ask questions, and collect application materials.

The meetings are set for:

• 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at the Centre of Elgin Arts and Crafts Studio, 100 Symphony Way, Elgin.

• 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Town & Country Library, Room 108, 320 E. North St., Elburn.

• 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Kane County Government Center auditorium, 719 Batavia Ave., Geneva.

• 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Prisco Community Center, Room 103, 150 W. Illinois Ave., Aurora.
