Company's foundation benefits PADS

Filtertek is a company that operates plants in two McHenry County communities as part of Esco Technologies.

Esco Techologies has established a foundation to coordinate its local giving.

The company, located in Hebron, recently demonstrated its community support with a $5,000 donation to McHenry County Public Action to Deliver Shelter, which is now a program of Pioneer Center for Human Services.

Its donation will help support the PADS program that provides services to homeless men, women and children of McHenry County.

PADS services include emergency aid through church site shelters, transitional shelter, transportation, case management, mental health counseling and a day center that provides food, showers, use of phones, computers and more.
