Remove Hanania from editorial page
I commend the Daily Herald for attempting to give balanced editorial page viewpoints from the Arab and Israeli perspectives by running columns by Ray Hanania (Arab) and Chaya Gil (Israeli). Hanania's columns, however, are too bizarre. Take, for example, his column on Oct. 1, with the headline, "Too busy ripping Ahmadinejad to hear his message" in which he states, "… the hypocrisy of American policies," and "What passes for free speech in America is another form of oppression, no better or worse than censorship in the Middle East."
The Daily Herald needs to find a replacement for Mr. Hanania with moderate views if it wants to balance Arab and Israeli viewpoints.
