Cub Scouts thank supporters

Cub Scout Pack 36 of Buffalo Grove chartered by the Buffalo Grove Chamber of Commerce, is kicking off its annual popcorn sales.

The kickoff began Sept. 23 with our site sales. Buffalo's Restaurant and 7-Eleven, on Weiland Road, graciously opened their storefronts for the Cub Scouts to sell popcorn. Our fundraiser continues throughout October. Our goal is to raise money for our pack to use for campouts, training programs and service projects. Over the next two weekends, we will continue to sell popcorn outside various Buffalo Grove stores.

We would like to say a big thank-you to the store owners for supporting our fundraiser and to their customers for buying our popcorn and supporting our Cub Scout Pack 36. Thank you, area residents, Walgreens, Jewel-Osco, 7-Eleven, Buffalo's Restaurant, Dominick's and Weiner Take all.
