Anderson played for UW-Parkside

Stan Anderson, who will be inducted into the Palatine Athletic Hall of Fame tonight, was a four-year letter winner in soccer at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, not UW-Platteville as reported in some editions.

Anderson then served as an assistant soccer coach for Jerry Pagnani at Fremd before becoming a successful college coach at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and now Marquette University.

Palatine's Hall of Fame ceremony will be held tonight in Chic Anderson Stadium with the reception at 6 p.m. at the north end prior to the homecoming varsity football game with Barrington.

Don Crandall, Joe Petricca and Carolyn Currins-Scanlon also will be inducted into the Palatine Hall of Fame.
