Briefs: DeVry moving classes within Elgin

ELGIN -- DeVry University announced Thursday it is moving its Elgin location to accommodate the addition of undergraduate degree programs. The new location on Randall Point at 2250 Point Blvd., Suite 250, will offer DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management classes. The facility opens Oct. 29 and will have five classrooms, a computer lab, a study lab, a conference room and administrative offices. DeVry is based in Oakbrook Terrace.

United Airlines ties record load factor

CHICAGO -- United Airlines on Thursday reported its preliminary traffic results for September, tying its record for the highest-ever September passenger load factor of 80 percent. It previously reached that level in September 2005. Total scheduled revenue passenger miles decreased in September by 0.8 percent on a capacity decrease of 1.7 percent in scheduled available seat miles compared with the same period in 2006.
