Lift a glass at Options & Advocacy fundraising event

Options & Advocacy announces it will hold its seventh annual Wine Tasting Event on Nov. 2 in collaboration with Wine Styles Inc. and the Crystal Lake Country Club.

This fundraising event features wine, hors d'oeuvres and live entertainment by the Rick Embach Duo.

Tickets are $50 per person or $175 for four tickets.

This elegant evening includes a silent auction and a raffle of themed baskets.

Last year's event auctioned off signed, limited-edition art prints; golf outings; sports memorabilia; and hand-painted children's furniture.

Last year's raffle baskets included a chocolate lover's basket, one for gardeners, and a storytime basket.

Options & Advocacy provided services to more than 1,000 children and adults in the past year.

Parents of more than 600 children under the age of 3 were able to access much-needed early intervention services designed to enhance the children's development.

More than 300 adults and school-age children received advocacy and support services.
