The Underdogs to headline Can Do Charity Event

The Can Do Charity Event will sponsor The Underdogs at a fundraiser at 7 p.m. Saturday at Ye Olde Town Inn, 18 West Busse Ave., Mount Prospect.

Proceeds from the event will go toward the United Relief Foundation's Humanitarian Lifeline Initiatives.

The public is invited to the charity event and the cost is $10. Can Do event goers will be treated to chances to win prizes, an all-you-can-eat pizza-wings-pasta food buffet, followed by the musical talents of The Underdogs performing classic '50s, '60s and '70s rock music until midnight.

United Relief Foundation is an Illinois chartered and registered 501 (c)(3) humanitarian aid organization providing a Lifeline of Hope and Help to ease human suffering whenever and wherever needed within the United States.

The foundation recently created two Humanitarian Lifeline initiatives: Stock the Shelves to aid food pantries (www.stocktheshelves.org) and UR a VIP Club providing positive life experiences for children ages 10 to 16 suffering from major health related and developmentally delayed issues (www.uravip.org).
