Round-up: Elgin Academy takes 4th at ISL golf meet
Turner Wadington shot a 7-over par 79 at Cog Hill in Lemont Wednesday to lead the Elgin Academy boys golf team to a fourth-place finish in the Independent School League meet with a score of 349.
The Latin School won the team title with a 317 while North Shore Country Day was second at 320 and Morgan Park Academy fourth with a 349.

Hampshire d. North Boone: Hampshire (17-1, 4-1) defeated North Boone for a Big Northern East Conference victory 25-11, 25-11. Amber Ladwig and Amy Wehrs led the Whip Purs each putting down 8 kills. Kara Wehrs contributed with 25 assists while Jen Kondrat tallied 9 digs.
Burlington Central d. Harvard: The Rockets (17-3, 5-0) finished the first half of conference play undefeated as they faced defending Big Northern East champion Harvard and came out victorious 25-15, 25-18. Teresa Krog led Burlington Central with 9 kills. Stephanie Holthus also added 8 kills while Kim Ingraham collected 5 kills to keep the Rockets ahead. As the team collected a total of 9 aces, Molly Turk tallied 24 assists.
St. Edward d. Immaculate Conception: The Green Wave (8-12, 5-4) added a Suburban Catholic Conference victory defeating the Knights in three games 25-23, 19-25, 25-20. Kristen Haggenjos collected 17 assists for a team high. Katie Yohn followed close behind with 12 kills, 9 blocks and 15 assists. Molly Kelly added 5 blocks with 4 kills. Teammate Taylor Barone also contributed with 4 kills, 3 blocks and 16 digs, while Margie Haggenjos collected 16 digs with 3 aces.
