Briefs: Cabela's plans grand opening

HOFFMAN ESTATES -- Cabela's, an outfitter of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, is planning its grand-opening Oct. 5-14 at its 185,000-square-foot superstore in the Prairie Stone Business Park at I-90 and Route 59 in Hoffman Estates. Hunting and fishing authorities, expert dog trainers, authors and wildlife artists will meet customers. Grand-opening giveaways and special prices on clothing and merchandise will be offered. U.S. Waterproofing goes to larger office

ROLLING MEADOWS -- U.S. Waterproofing, which marks its 50th anniversary this year, is moving its operations from 2207 Hammond Drive in Schaumburg to larger facilities at 5650 Meadowbrook Court in Rolling Meadows, near the intersection of I-90 and Illinois Route 53. The new building will provide more than 90 parking spaces, with room for 40 more spots, ample storage space for vehicles and supplies and office space.
