Missing woman found in closed-off area of Morton Arboretum

A 54-year-old woman found unresponsive Saturday morning in the Morton Arboretum in Lisle had been reported missing Friday by her family.

The woman was transported Saturday to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, where she was listed in critical condition.

DuPage County sheriff's police searched the arboretum after a deputy spotted the woman's vehicle in one of the parking lots.

She was found about 10:45 a.m. in a closed and non-public area of the arboretum, near Park Boulevard and Route 53, according to a news release from the sheriff's department.
