Ghost story
Buffalo Theatre Ensemble begins its 21st season today with the seasonally appropriate "The Woman in Black," about a lawyer who gets more than he bargained for when he goes to settle a dead woman's estate.
The play opens today at the McAninch Arts Center at the College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn. (630) 942-4000.
Superhero satire
Captain Justice, his drag queen sidekick Playboy Buddy and Lady Liberty fight crime and fight for the American way in Theater Wit's "Men of Steel," a superhero satire in its Chicago premiere.
