Briefs: Zurich targets businesses

SCHAUMBURG -- Zurich, one of the nation's largest commercial property-casualty insurance companies, is targeting the needs of technology customers by providing a range of coverage designed for mid-sized businesses. Zurich's focus is on the creators and builders of technology products rather than end-users. Among the solutions is Zurich's new P3, which provides broader coverage and fewer exclusion that other companies' products.

Forsythe acquires tech security firm

SKOKIE -- Forsythe Solutions Group Inc., a 36-year old national provider of technology infrastructure services and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Forsythe Technology Inc., said it acquired St. Paul, Minn.-based Information Security Technology Inc., a provider of information security solutions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. IST has about 30 workers in seven offices in the United States and Canada. This is Forsythe's third major acquisition in five years.
