Diverse buyers favor Brookstone plan

Young couples and empty-nesters are both choosing the Brookstone floor plan at West Lake townhome development in Cary.

The Brookstone is one of three available floor plans at West Lake, located at Route 14 and Three Oaks Road.

According to Charles Lorenz, president of Par Development, Inc., empty-nesters like the open feel of the Brookstone plan, as the walk-in pantry in the kitchen and the second-floor laundry room. Young couples, meanwhile, are attracted to the two-story family room and the second-floor loft.

Highlights of the 1,954-square-foot Brookstone include a kitchen with peninsula island and walk-in pantry; formal dining room accented by decorative columns; two-story family room open to both the kitchen and dining room; master bedroom suite with large walk-in closet and private access to the luxury bath with a corner whirlpool tub and separate shower; second bedroom with walk-in closet and attached two-car garage.

In addition to the Brookstone, buyers may select from two additional home plans ranging up to 1,978 square feet in size and offering two or three bedrooms; one to 2½ baths and attached two-car garages. Homes are currently base-priced from $259,990 to $284,990 and are built three, four and five to a building.

Four decorated model homes are open daily for touring.

All West Lake townhouses include standard features such as full basements and kitchens with stainless-steel sinks, oak floors and cabinets with Corian countertops. Baths have separate showers and soaking tubs, Corian counters, ceramic tile surround and flooring and Moen fixtures.

Buyers can customize their homes by adding finished basements, lookout or walkout basements, intercom systems and more.

A monthly assessment covers snow removal and landscape maintenance.

The community features a park and lake. The Hollows Conservation District, which is heavily wooded and offers lakes for fishing as well as walking paths, surrounds the West Lake property.

The models and sales center, at Route 14 and Three Oaks Road, are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call (847) 854-2777 for more information.
