Police seek suspects in Bensenville brawl
Bensenville police are searching for several suspects that stabbed two men and beat another, authorities said Wednesday.
Two Bensenville men were taken to area hospitals and one refused medical treatment following a fight that broke out around 5 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot in the 100 block of Bridget Court.
One man was stabbed several times in the chest, while another suffered a cut to his left arm. The third victim was hit in the head with a wooden object. None of the injuries were life threatening, authorities said.
Police said they believe the attack was random and doesn't appear to be gang related.
"It just started as a brawl in the parking lot and it seemed to escalate," Bensenville spokeswoman Linda Dickson said.
Bensenville police, assisted by Wood Dale police, searched the area but couldn't find the rest of the group involved in the fight.
Police didn't release the names of the victims, citing an on-going investigation.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Bensenville police at (630) 350-3455.
