Another accolade for musical group

Regarding the Aug. 13 letter from Ed and Joan Koska about the Wheaton Summer Symphony and Chorus -- accolades must also go to Don Mattison, who founded and still manages the orchestra and chorus in its 49th season! Don is a very inconspicuous oboe player in the orchestra. (Next summer listen for his special oboe solos.) The symphony almost consumes the summertime of Don, and Diane, his wife! They are as, Harry Porterfield of ABC 7 Chicago says, "Someone you should know in the community."

Thanks, Don and Diane, for a job well done. And "Bravo" to maestro Peter Lapari who helps us all to sound fine!
