'Taste of ICL' to be Sept. 5 at Roosevelt

The Institute for Continued Learning at Roosevelt University's Schaumburg campus will hold the complimentary "Taste of ICL" at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Alumni Hall, 1400 N. Roosevelt Blvd. Both new and returning members may register for the nine-week fall term, beginning Sept. 17.

Featured will be previews of study group topics "Winston Churchill," "Meeting Minorities" and "Comedy In Music." Other activities, such as the winter lecture series, field trips, social gatherings and discussion groups, will be discussed by institute President Bob Allen. A breakfast snack will also be served.

Membership is open to ages 50 and up. To register, call (847) 619-7288.

Have coffee with the supervisor

Coffee with the Supervisor will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 8. Attendees can share ideas and concerns about township government with Hanover Township Supervisor Mike Kelly at the township offices, 250 S. Route 59, Bartlett.
