Miss Septemberfest court to reign at festivities

Miss Septemberfest 2007 will be crowned Friday at a luncheon at Poplar Creek Golf Club in Hoffman Estates, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates.

•Ashley Darnall, 17, Schaumburg High School. Activities include captain of varsity soccer, editor of Sextant newspaper, peer mediation, and volunteering as captain for a Relay For Life team and Shelter Inc. Ashley was recognized as Schaumburg's 2007 Volunteer of the Year.

•Stephanie Drnek, 17, Conant High School. Activities include captain of the varsity pom pon squad, National Honor Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions, and volunteering for St. Jude's Children's Charities and the MS Walk-A-Thon.
