Catchings' 30 spark Indiana: Tamika Catchings had 30 points and 13 rebounds, and the host Indiana Fever made the biggest comeback in WNBA playoff history to defeat the Connecticut Sun 93-88 in overtime and advance to the Eastern Conference finals. The Fever overcame a 39-17, second-quarter deficit to win the series 2-1.

Katie Douglas led Connecticut with 27 points, while Tamika Whitmore scored 24 points and Anna DeForge 18 for the Fever.

Vickie Johnson scored an easy layup on a pass from Becky Hammon with half a second remaining and San Antonio beat visiting Sacramento 80-78 to wrap up their best-of-three Western Conference playoff series.

Giuliani speaks out on Bonds: Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani wants to be president, but he still thinks like a prosecutor when it comes to Barry Bonds.

Giuliani was asked about Bonds' controversial pursuit of the career home-run record while attending Monday night's Detroit Tigers-New York Yankees game at Comerica Park.

"The reality is that he set a record with a lot of questions hanging over him," said Giuliani, a former U.S. Attorney in New York. "Maybe it is because I spent so many years in the criminal justice system, but I still think of people as innocent until proven guilty.

"As a baseball fan, I hope we get the answers to all those questions someday. Right now, though, we don't have them."

A Hearst Corp. lawyer asked a federal judge in New York on Monday to schedule oral arguments in the newspaper chain's attempt to make public the names of baseball players implicated in obtaining steroids.

Man pleads guilty in UK death: A man charged with fatally shooting a University of Kentucky football player as he celebrated his 21st birthday on a porch near campus pleaded guilty to manslaughter Monday.

In the plea agreement, Shane Ragland was sentenced to time served -- six years, including credit for 14 months of house arrest -- for the 1994 shooting of Trent DiGiuro.

Ragland was accused of targeting DiGiuro in revenge for keeping him out of a fraternity. He was convicted of murder in 2002 and sentenced to 30 years in prison, but he won a new trial after the state Supreme Court agreed the prosecutor had made an inappropriate comment during trial and used inadmissible evidence concerning a bullet.

Flyers' winning streak ends: The Kansas City T-Bones were able to hold off a surging Schaumburg Flyers team in the fourth game of a five-game series, snapping the Flyers' three-game winning streak Monday night at Alexian Field.

The 8-5 loss to Kansas City decreased the Flyers' Northern League playoff chances, reducing their elimination number to 2. If the Flyers lose tomorrow night's game, they will be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.
