Media constantly slant the news

When one listens to the news in any format. questions arise with regard to factual information. If one must make a decision, one must have the facts to make a correct decision.

The war in Iraq is a great example. All we see are the explosions or hear daily how many soldiers have died. There is good news occurring there, but the media exploit only the sensational. The news media have the responsibility to report facts. Too many slant the facts. How is the average American to know what's happening if there is no truth in reporting.

The stock market was at an all-time high and is now correcting itself. Unemployment is at its lowest. Not much has been touted in the media about it. Why would that be the case?

Recently politicians have become more unreliable than ever before. The media are following that example. It is clear that certain editors don't like President Bush. They have nothing good to say about his successes. I don't agree with many things that have transpired, but some of his ideas are working well.

I haven't seen anything in the news about a Democratic congresswoman walking out of a committee briefing because she was upset there was some good news that the military build up in Iraq was working. A poll was taken which showed an increase in the number of people favoring the build up. The Democrats didn't like the results and ran their own poll with the results showing the exact same number.

Global warming is happening for reasons other than what Al Gore says. A fact that has not been stated is that the sun is in a hotter than normal cycle and causes cyclical changes in the weather on earth.

People exhale carbon dioxide every time they breathe. The Democrats will probably want to tax us on the amount of carbon dioxide that we exhale. Will animals have to pay taxes too? It is upsetting that someone/group has a personal agenda and the power to shape public opinion by not making the whole truth known.
