•Thieves stole a boys' 21-speed red and silver bicycle between noon and 2:20 p.m. Aug. 16 locked in a bike rack at the Mount Prospect Public Library, 10 S. Emerson St., police said. Value was estimated at $250.

Prospect Heights

•Burglars stole golf clubs between 8 p.m. Aug. 16 and 8 a.m. Aug. 17 out of a locked Ford pickup truck parked on the 200 block of East Marion, police said. Value was estimated at $1,200.
