DECATUR -- Archer Daniels Midland Co., the agricultural processing and biofuels firm, announced this week an organizational restructuring of the company that includes 40 job cuts. The Decatur-based company said streamlining its management team would provide clearer lines of responsibility.

Macy's to use celebrity power
CINCINNATI -- Scenes featuring Donald Trump and Martha Stewart are part of a celebrity-studded advertising campaign Cincinnati-based Macy's is starting next month. Trump and Stewart both sell their own branded products at Macy's. Other celebrities include singer and actress Jessica Simpson, designers Tommy Hilfiger and Kenneth Cole and music producer and rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs.
AT&T inks contract with Hyatt
CHICAGO -- AT&T said Thursday it signed a two-year contract for worldwide communications services for Global Hyatt Corp. AT&T will deploy an Internet Protocol-enabled wide-area network that will connect nearly 300 Hyatt locations in 43 countries in North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
American to add Buenos Aires flights
FORT WORTH, Texas -- American Airlines will begin daily nonstop service from O'Hare International Airport to Buenos Aires, Argentina, starting Dec. 13. Tickets for the new flight will go on sale Sunday and are pending final government approval.
Real estate firms refinance hotel
OAKBROOK TERRACE --Commercial real estate firms The Harp Group and Mid-America Development Partners have announced a $101 million refinancing of the Westin Chicago North Shore Hotel in Wheeling. The two OakBrook Terrace-based firms are partnering with Marathon Opportunity Fund, a New York-based hedge fund, to take advantage of favorable interest rates. The lender is JPMorgan Chase.
