Briefs: HSBC employees volunteer

PROSPECT HEIGHTS --About 8,500 employees from HSBC-North America's HFC and Beneficial branches will team up with local schools and service organizations in a wide variety of community service projects today through Aug. 31. The HSBC project takes place in about 200 communities across the country.

AutoCheck reports expanded features

SCHAUMBURG -- Experian Automotive, a division of global business solutions company Experian Inc., said Tuesday it added new and enhanced accident information to its AutoCheck vehicle history reports, expanding its nationwide coverage of police accident report and exclusive frame damage information. Consumer demand for vehicle history information has grown immensely, with 75 percent of buyers saying the most important piece of information in a vehicle's history is whether that vehicle has been in a collision.
