Tell Cary that you oppose gravel pit

I am an 11-year-plus resident of Cary, and I am opposed to having any gravel pit in Cary. A gravel pit is a potential health hazard, may have negative impact on home values and I understand it could jeopardize our drinking water.

I realize Meyer Material has funded many studies that say a gravel pit within the city of Cary would not hurt anyone, but I do not believe it.

If the village is seriously considering Meyer Material's proposal, then an independent study funded by the village needs to be conducted to analyze the impact of the gravel pit to the environment and health of the surrounding community.

Every concerned resident of Cary should notify the village board they are against this proposal for a gravel pit.

Please remind the village board that they represent you and that you want them to vote against the gravel pit.
