Briefs: Wynnchurch buys Wisconsin firm

ROSEMONT -- Wynnchurch Capital, a Rosemont-based private equity firm, said Wednesday it purchased a majority interest in Webex Inc., headquartered in Neenah, Wis., a designer and manufacturer of precision-engineered rolls and custom web handling machinery. Terms were not disclosed. Founded in 1972, Webex's primary product lines consist of precision engineered rolls and converting components, in addition to specialized web handling machinery, which are utilized in a variety of markets including consumer products, packaging, films, pharmaceutical and food processing.

Broker opens new Sunbelt office

ADDISON -- Sunbelt, which specializes in helping individuals and companies buy and sell businesses, said Wednesday that Harsha Shukla operates a new franchise serving DuPage County, which opened on West Fullerton Avenue in Addison. Shukla joins Sunbelt as a broker with more than 15 years of accounting and legal experience. Shukla and her husband live in Des Plaines.
