District 158 OK for cash:

Huntley District 158 won't be affected by the state's inability to reach an agreement on the budget, district officials say. District 158 is waiting on $1 million in general aid from the state, but it has plenty of cash to meet its expenses as the school year begins, board Vice President Tony Quagliano said. "We will not be hurting waiting for state aid a couple weeks," Quagliano said. The only cost to the district is the 5 percent in interest it will lose on the $1 million during the delay.
