Two businesses combine forces

PALATINE -- United Country Real Estate recently became affiliated with Beloit Auction Services Inc. Now United Country - Beloit Auction & Realty Inc., the company will operate offices in Palatine at 434 ˆ¨ E. Northwest Hwy, Suite 2 and in Beloit, Wis. at 534 W. Grand Ave. The national real estate and auction franchise system specializes in residential, farm and ranch, commercial and recreational properties in small cities and towns across America.

Local company to work on project

ELK GROVE VILLAGE -- Innovative Insulation Solutions Ltd., a provider of foam insulation systems, was recently chosen by Honeywell International and BASF as the spray foam insulation contractor of choice to insulate a nationally visible project in Schaumburg. The Brandon residence, located at 1220 Springsouth Road, will be an Energy Star home that is built with a focus on green building materials, and will qualify for federal tax credits. Energy Star is a government program that offers businesses and consumers energy-efficient solutions.
