Molex reports revenue increase

LISLE -- Molex Inc., a global electronic components company, Wednesday reported revenue for the 2007 fourth quarter ended June 30, 2007, at $791.8 million, a 1 percent increase over the same period last fiscal year. Net income for the June quarter was $32.7 million, or 18 cents per share. This compares with net income of $70.5 million, or 38 cents per share in the prior year quarter. Revenue for the twelve months ended June 30, 2007, was $3.27 billion, an increase of 14.1 percent compared with the prior fiscal year.

Holding company reports income

GLEN ELLYN -- Community Financial Shares Inc., the holding company for Community Bank of Wheaton/Glen Ellyn, reported net income for the three and six months ended June 30, 2007, of $405,000 and $1.3 million, respectively. This compares to $547,000 and $1 million for the comparable prior year periods. Total assets at June 30, 2007, were $277.2 million, an increase of $5.5 million, or 2 percent, compared to $271.7 million at December 31, 2006.
