Baxter leader of the pack again

CRYSTAL LAKE --For the third year employee-owned engineering consulting firm providing planning, design, construction, and technology services Baxter & Woodman Inc. has been named one of the Top 50 Architect/Engineering/Construction (AEC) firms when it comes to completing public works projects, according to Pubic Works Magazine's annual survey, which charts statistics supplied by AEC firms and opinions of public works departments nationwide. Large infrastructure projects such as wastewater and storm water treatment projects, road and bridge construction, and surveying, mapping and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) top the list of contracts.

Telular announces exec resignation

VERNON HILLS -- Telular Corp. said Friday that Jeffrey L. Herrmann has resigned as executive vice president and chief operating officer effective August 3, 2007. Herrmann will continue in a consulting role with the company to effect a smooth transition for the current management team. Telular designs and manufactures wireless products.
