Batavia
A vehicle parked on the 1300 block of East Wilson Street had one of its tires slashed between 7 and 11:05 p.m. Monday.
Matthew R. Slinkard, 23, of 1144 Bradford Circle, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles at his home at 10:50 a.m. Sunday, according to a police report.
Kane County
A mailbox on the 38W600 block of Dean Street in St. Charles Township was reported damaged by a vehicle at 8:15 a.m. Saturday. Damage is estimated at $200.
A checkbook and financial paperwork were reported stolen from a 2000 Lincoln Town Car parked on the 6N600 block of Palomino Drive in Campton Township at 7:40 a.m. Sunday. There were no signs of forced entry.
Tyler P. Reigel, 18, 41W062 Foal Lane, Elburn; Nathan P. Emma, 18, 4N603 Brookside Drive, St. Charles; and Timothy M. Dwyer, 18, 35W785 Park Lane, St. Charles, were charged with disorderly conduct after drivers reported they were pointing airsoft guns at other cars near LaFox and Keslinger roads in Geneva Township at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, according to a police report.
Fifty dollars was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 4N100 block of Wyngate Street in Campton Township between 1 and 3:35 a.m. Monday.
Several items, including a bicycle and a lawn chair, were thrown into the pool at the Windings clubhouse at 42W346 Retreat Court in Campton Township between 10 p.m. Monday and 2:33 a.m. Tuesday. Two potted plants were broken as well.
A window was broken out of the train depot museum at 40W400 Stone Crest Drive in Plato Township between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 11:45 a.m. Friday. A picnic table was also found vandalized at the park.
A $100 mailbox on the 43W900 block of Empire Road in Campton Township was stolen between 8 p.m. Monday and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Two sets of golf clubs valued at $1,400 were stolen from a garage on Winthrop New Road in Sugar Grove Township between June 12 and 14.
North Aurora
Donte M. Tuggles, 20, 843 N. May St., Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence and possession of between 2.5 and 10 grams of cannabis after a traffic stop on Randall Road near Sullivan Road at 11:12 p.m. Thursday, according to a police report.
St. Charles
A bicycle valued at $100 was found at 6:30 p.m. Monday on the 300 block of Illinois Street.
An iPod and adapter valued at $195 were stolen from a car at Super Target, 3885 E. Main St., Sunday afternoon.
Kyle W. Kozubek, 20, of 1133 W. Wilson St. Unit E, Batavia, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. Friday and charged with theft after stealing a $110 radar detector from Meijer, 855 S. Randall Road, police said. Kozubek was released on $1,000 bond with a Sept. 13 court date.
Patrick T. Roschmann, 20, of 41W148 Colson Drive, was arrested at 8:10 p.m. Monday and charged with retail theft after stealing $28.63 in condoms from Meijer, 855 S. Randall Road, police said. He was released on $1,000 bond with an Aug. 9 court date.
Kujtim Selejamani, 30, of 200 E. Fifth Ave., Naperville, was arrested Monday and charged with forgery and two counts of unlawful acquisition of a controlled substance, police said. A judge set Selejamani's bail Tuesday at $50,000. Selejamani's next court date is Aug. 9.
Scott C. Arney, 46, of 720 S. Seventh St., was arrested at 3:52 p.m. Monday and charged with resisting police and criminal trespass after an altercation at Scotland Yard, 301 W. Main St., police said.
Quentin L. Smith, 17, of 36W268 McKay Drive, was arrested at 9:54 a.m. Tuesday and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at St. Charles North High School, 255 Red Gate Road, police said.
Six tires on three vehicles were punctured between 8 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of Walnut Drive. The tires were valued at $360 total.
Graffiti caused $300 in damage to a bathroom door Tuesday at St. Charles Public Library, 1 S. Sixth Ave.
Several stuffed animals, a camera and a piece of clothing were found Sunday in a bag on the 1700 block of Pleasant Avenue.
A bag of pipe tobacco valued at $10 and a fishing lure valued at $7 were stolen from a truck on the 1700 block of Larson Avenue late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
Several pieces of jewelry valued at $3,205 total were stolen July 14 from a room at the Hilton Garden Inn, 4070 E. Main St.
A blue bicycle valued at $125 was stolen Monday from Fox Ridge Elementary School, 1905 Tyler Road.
