Ruben Avila, 22, of 247 Friars Court, Addison, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. July 2 at 900 S. Northwest Hwy. and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana under 30 grams and driving while license suspended, a police report said.

The following people were arrested at 12:49 a.m. July 14 at Northwest Highway and Hart Road and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor, a police report said: Monica Motyka, 17, of 1235 Pheasant Ridge, Lake Zurich; Kelly L. Gawron, 18, of 160 Burr Oak Drive, Lake Zurich; and Stephanie I. Benedict, 17, of 10 Hollycourt Terrace, Lake Zurich. Motyka was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, the report said.

Deer Park

Blair E. Dangelo, 18, 104 N. Oak St., Palatine; Bradley W. Howett, 18, 335 N. Macarthur Drive, Palatine; and Alexander C. Obara, 18, 918 E. Holly Way, Palatine, were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia July 2. Police said they stopped their car on the 20500 block of Rand Road and found drug equipment inside. Dangelo also was charged with possession of marijuana. Their Mundelein court date is Aug. 15.
