Animal shelter opens doors to show you your perfect pet

McHenry County Animal Control's Adoption Center will be hosting an Adoption Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday and Aug. 4 at the center, east of Raffel Road in Woodstock at 11608 Banford Road.

If you have carefully considered opening your heart and home to a family pet, our adoption center have many amazing animals that could be just the friend you are looking for.

Adoptions start at $20 and include all vaccinations, spay/neutering, heartworm testing, FELV & FIV testing, microchipping, free first vet visit and discounted grooming.

All adoptive families will receive a free bag of food, a valuable coupon book and giveaways from various area pet businesses.

Raffles and face painting will also add to the day's festivities.
