Pat and Ron Benshish downsize with ease at The Regency of Bowes Creek

"When we retired in 2016 and decided it was time to downsize from our single-family home in West Chicago, our new hobby became visiting senior developments and open houses throughout the western suburbs," Pat Benshish said. "We toured a lot of communities but kept coming back to Bowes Creek."

"We really enjoy the open dining room and great room," Pat said. We opted to expand our kitchen, which added additional cabinets and counter space. We will have 16 here for Mother's Day and entertain comfortably. We also like the den, where we have a sofa-sleeper, which adds more room for visitors."

"We have very nice neighbors and enjoy being as involved as we want to be," Pat said. "We are not golfers but enjoy the amenities offered at Bowes Creek. We went to the St. Patrick's Day party at the clubhouse and look forward to the pool opening party in May. On the first Wednesday of the month we meet friends at the Pub for $5 burgers."
