Kickers United of Elgin integrates with Campton United

Campton United is pleased to announce that Kickers United of Elgin is integrating their soccer club operations into Campton United effective for the upcoming 2018-19 season.

Campton's Executive Director Caulbert Smith will lead all soccer operations and development.

"We are excited to have Kickers affiliate with our club and look forward to an even stronger player pool with the addition of their players and staff," Caulbert Smith said.

Campton President Roger Albrecht believes "The quality of player development that the Walter family has overseen for the Kickers during the last 28 years will meld easily with Campton philosophies on soccer education."

"The ever-changing league and soccer landscape requires a larger and deeper infrastructure for player development and requires participation on the right platforms," said Kickers United Director of Coaching Kyle Walter. "We felt partnering with Campton United at this time was in the best interest of our players and staff.

"Campton has developed a large lead in the Chicagoland market in the four pillars of youth soccer development: Coaches, Curriculum, Facilities and Communication. With the success they have had on the field and the long history of players they have produced at the high school and college level, we can think of no better place for our players to continue to develop than with a united Kickers and Campton organization," Walter continued.
