Senior Star at Weber Place earns two-year license and deficiency-free rating from Illinois Department of Public Health

Senior Star at Weber Place is proud to announce it has been awarded a deficiency-free rating and two-year license from the Illinois Department of Public Health for its memory care and assisted living communities.

Achieving this honor reinforces that senior living communities such as Senior Star at Weber Place have distinguished themselves in a competitive market where nothing less than excellence should be expected.

The IDPH is responsible for ensuring nursing homes and senior care communities completely comply with mandatory state regulations. The surveys evaluate compliance, equipment, staff, policies, procedures, finances as well as the assessment, service plan and services provided to ensure that resident needs are met. Senior Star at Weber Place participated in this on-site, unannounced review that included inspection of all aspects of resident care, assessing facility compliance with numerous state and federal standards.

In addition to the IDPH rating, Senior Star was awarded a three-year term of accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF International) in 2017. The CARF accreditation represented the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and demonstrated Senior Star's substantial conformance to more than 1500 CARF standards for quality and pursuit of excellence.

The IDPH rating, along with the CARF accreditation, positions Senior Star among the best senior living providers in the industry, which is an important distinction when choosing a senior living community.
