Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley opens new office in Geneva

The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley recently opened a two-room Geneva office in April 2015 to increase its presence in the Tri-Cities.

Since then, nearly 30 new funds have been created in the Tri-Cities, totaling nearly $2.9 million in assets.

Additionally, more than 25 Tri-City agencies have received nearly $375,000 in discretionary grants from the foundation.

The foundation now occupies three connected offices within the building, located at 127 S. First St.

The office is staffed full time by executive assistant Sarah Herring and Julie Christman, director of community involvement and partnerships. President and CEO Jeffrey Hartman is based in the office at least once a week.

The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley is grateful to the agencies, professional advisers and donors in the Tri-Cities who have helped it grow as a foundation. With this expansion, they are committed to furthering support of the Tri-City area, as well as the entire service area.
