Kaneland Arts Initiative to present 'Disney's Beauty & the Beast'

The eighth annual Kaneland Arts Initiative Summer Theatre Production will be "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays, July 14-23, in the Kaneland High School auditorium, 47W326 Keslinger Road in Maple Park.

All seats are reserved. Online tickets are $10, $8 for seniors or $5 for students. Box office tickets are $12, $10 for seniors or $7 for students. For online tickets, visit kanelandartsinitiative.org.

In addition, purchase an Enchanted, Lighted Rose for $5. Meet Belle and her Prince and/or Cogsworth and Lumiere after the performance for a donation.

A "meet-and-greet" with the "Beauty and the Beast" cast will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, July 17, at Elburn's Town & Country Library, 320 E. North St.

There will be doughnuts, muffins, juice and coffee. Promptly at 11 a.m., the cast of "Beauty and the Beast" will perform a special song from the musical. Stay for autograph signings and photo opportunities with Belle, Beast, Gaston, Cogsworth, Plumette, Lumiere, and Mrs. Potts.

The Kaneland Arts Initiative will be selling light up roses for $5 each. Proceeds benefit future shows.
