Animal House Shelter invites you to PAWFest July 15

Join Animal House Shelter for PAWfest, an afternoon of fun as they celebrate more than 30,000 adoptions to date and raise funds to save the lives of more animals in need. It will be noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at Animal House Shelter, 13005 Ernesti Road, Huntley.

This event is free and open to the public! Pets are welcome.

There will be low cost vaccinations and micro chipping (vaccines: $20 rabies, $20 distemper 5 in 1, $20 bordetella, & $20 microchips), with services provided by VCA Noyes Animal Hospital

Get nail trims for $10, trim & grind for $15, with services provided by Wet Noses Mobil Grooming

There will be food and beverages, including pizza, hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, soda, water, and beer (for those 21 and older.

Other attractions include: a 50/50 raffle and other raffle items; pet photographer; giant water slide; dunk tank; face painting; kids' activities; doggy kissing booth; doggy pools and misting fan; dog tricks demonstration; shelter merchandise for sale; and more.

Children can also learn about animal rescue by adopting a dog or cat stuffed animal.
