Rep. Sauer to Host Free Shredding Event with Fremont Township

LIBERTYVILLE - State Representative Nick Sauer (R-Lake Barrington) is hosting a free document shredding event on Saturday, May 6 in conjunction with Fremont Township. The event will be held at the Fremont Township offices at 22385 W. IL Route 60 in Mundelein from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

"For anyone who needs to clean out the file cabinet and dispose of those sensitive documents you can't safely throw away anymore, this is a great opportunity," said Sauer. "My staff and I will be available to unload documents and have them immediately shredded."

Shred Truck Instructions:

• Two bags of paper documents per vehicle will be accepted for destruction.

• No electronics will be accepted for recycling or disposal.

• Follow traffic directional signs.

• Drivers should remain in their car while it is being unloaded by staff.

• Parking is available for those who want to watch document shredding.
