Woodland Elementary East Recognizes Its ROAR Kids for February

Gages Lake--Woodland Elementary East would like to recognize the following students for becoming ROAR Kids during the month of February. Students selected as ROAR Kids demonstrated OWNERSHIP during this month in a variety of ways.

ROAR is part of the district-wide behavioral framework, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) theme. ROAR represents Respect, Ownership, Acceptance and being Ready to learn (ROAR). This is the seventh year Woodland Elementary East has implemented PBIS.

"When the students at Woodland Elementary East display values that have a positive impact on those around them, we would like to take the time to acknowledge them and encourage all of our students to display these values," said Assistant Principal Mrs. Nicole Bellini.
