Woodland Educational Foundation Golf Outing Raises $15,820

Woodland District 50 Schools will benefit from $15,820 raised from the Woodland Educational Foundation's 10th annual golf outing held during the summer at Geneva National Golf Club in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

"We are very thankful to the organizers of the event as well as the sponsors who step up and support our students and staff each year by providing funds for grants," said Foundation President Bruce Bohren.

The Woodland Educational Foundation was established in 2006. A team of Woodland District 50 staff and community members collaborated to establish a Foundation that would creatively generate and distribute resources which enrich and enhance educational opportunities and experiences of Woodland students. The Foundation's intent is to create a mechanism to receive and disperse funds, properties and gifts of any kind to benefit the students and staff for innovative projects, student scholarships, support for supplemental projects and technology.
