Glenbard East students take amazing virtual reality field trip

On May 11, teachers and hundreds of students at Glenbard East High School saw breathtaking vistas and landmarks around the globe through Google Expeditions, a new experience that lets students take virtual field trips using Google Cardboard viewers. Using an iPad, the teacher selects a destination, and the students jump there automatically on Google Cardboard viewers. Our kids "visited" the Great Wall of China and Taj Mahal, Syria, Rome, Rio, national parks, the moon and went inside a shark tank deep in the ocean. As they looked up, down and around, the images in the viewer spanned across phenomenal views. Check out the photo album at facebook.com/GlenbardDistrict87
