Alternative jazz quintet to perform Sunday at The Norris Gallery

On Sunday, April 3, the alternative jazz quintet, Zazz, will present "A Jazz Palette," a concert that complements the "Watercolor 2016" exhibit on display in The Norris Gallery. The music will be jazz tunes that reflect the colors of jazz - blue, indigo, cool green, black, polka dots and more.

The concert will be 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Norris Cultural Arts Center, 1040 Dunham Road in St. Charles.

Zazz creates unique and innovative interpretations of jazz standards and popular show tunes, as well as original songs and compositions.

Suburban Chicago-based Zazz members are Deb Zelman, vocalist and clarinetist; Gail Sonkin, composer and pianist; Ken O'Neil, tenor saxophonist and flutist; Greg Zaborniak, drummer; and Julian Webb, bassist. To learn more about the quintet, visit zazzjazzcombo.com.

Tickets are $15 or $10 for children under age 12. Visit norris-cultural-arts.ticketleap.com/zazz/.
