A lizard blends in perfectly to the rough bark on the tree last November at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, AZ. Nancy Giardina of Libertyville
After a passing shower last June, and since the light was perfect, I decided to try a macro shot of the rain drops sitting on the Geraniums in our planter. The use of an extension tube attached to my EF 28-80mm got me up close and personal. I really like the reflection of sunlight on the rain droplets and the deep red of the velvet looking petals. Dennis Swanner of West Chicago

These photos were captured in our kitchen window after a snowstorm. The lighting is dramatic causing the Amaryllis to seem posterized. I love the striking red hues against the frosty background. Sherrie Magnini of Roselle
I took this picture at the Fayetteville Botanic Garden in Fayetteville Arkansas this past spring. I liked the way the water plants were framed by the modernistic design of the railing on a small footbridge spanning a pond. Milton Hoskins of Hampshire
During a July trip to the formal gardens at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, IL, I was drawn to the textures and lines of these white birch trees. The out-of-focus garden flowers in the background give the photo a colorful, abstract feeling. Mike Weimer of St. Charles
