Vero Voce presents 'Law and Order: Fairy Tale Unit & Nursery Rhyme Unit'

Vero Voce Theater opens its Young Performers Series with "Law And Order: Fairy Tale Unit & Nursery Rhyme Unit." Performances will be Sept. 19-27 at 1 and 4:30 p.m. Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sunday, at Vero Voce Theater, 951 State Ave., Suite F, St. Charles.

Is there a bigger group of psychotics and sociopaths than nursery rhyme characters? Not just for children, there are so many puns and plot twists in this comic romp, even the playwrights were surprised by the ending!

The cast features the talents of Bridgett Brutto, Eleni Christos, Aaron Delaney, Ryan Forde, Abigail Hannah and Evelyn Hannah, all of St. Charles; Gemma Cohen, Vivien Cohen, Naomi Gustin, Ronni Gustin, Timothy Gustin, Madeline Hotham and Brady Loftis, all of Batavia; and Audrey Morreal of Huntley.

Production staff includes senior director, overseeing both Fairy Tale Unit and Nursery Rhyme Unit, David M. Rodriguez, Vero Voce artistic director; Fairy Tale Unit director, Macey Buckman of Elgin; Nursery Rhyme Unit director, Abageal Phelan of Geneva; and commercial director, Isabelle Schamberger of Geneva.

Tickets are on sale now at www.verovoce.com or by phone at (630) 584-0139. Tickets are $18, $15 for seniors age 60 and older and students, or $10 for children, age 12 and younger. All major credit cards are accepted. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended as space is limited.

Vero Voce was established in 2001 specializing in private voice, piano lessons and musical theater coaching. It expanded into a 7,000 square foot facility with multiple studios, classrooms, and a theater. Vero Voce is known for its unique theater teaching style, with elements of improvisation, actor input, characterization, scene study, tech awareness and confidence building.
