Musical Performances for BeachFest 2015 Set for June 26, 27, 28 - Round Lake Beach

Mark your calendars for a great Summer Festival! The Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center Foundation and Village of Round Lake Beach announce additional live performances to the festival line-up. This three-day festival is set to take place on Friday, June 26 (3pm-11pm), Saturday, June 27 (1pm-11pm), and Sunday, June 28 (1pm-8pm). Top musical acts confirmed include award winning Rockin' Country Band Mandy Z and Rural Route One (Fri. 5:30pm), Chicagoland's number one up and coming country-rock band Brass Buckle Band (Fri. 8pm), Rock and Classic Rock Band Bad Medicine (Sat. 2pm), Classic Rock band with an edge-- And Beyond (Sat. 5pm), a "local high energy festival favorite" Modern Day Romeos (Sat. 8pm), and a "Cuban twist", playing a mix of Rock, Jazz, and Blues~ with a Latin percussion groove--Almost Joe (Sun. 1pm). On our Cultural Stage: Local Battle of the Bands (Sat. 1pm), 97Nine (Sat. 6pm), Miner 9th (Sun. 1pm), Rock/Pop/Country/Motown/R&B Band Transformation Rocks (Sun. 3pm), and Bar Stool Soldiers (Sun. 6pm). Hispanic band performances include Banda Valle Verde (Sun. 4pm), Los Orejones (Sun. 5pm), Los Tremendos Alegres (Sun. 6pm), Causa y Efecto (Sun. 7pm) -- Subject to change.

The festival will offer a carnival, children's entertainment stage, great food vendors, beverage tent, Miller's Petting Zoo, facepainting, balloons, family-friendly activities and more! Free admission to the FEST.

It is off of Hook Drive behind Regal Cinemas on Rollins Road and behind Home Depot on Route 83.

Media partners include: 102.3 XLC, ESPN Deportes 1220AM, and 98.3 WRLR with a live broadcast on Saturday with WRLR radio personalities.

The Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center Foundation is a recognized 501 c 3 not-for-profit organization. The Foundation's mission is to create, enhance, and maintain ongoing sources of revenue for the center; to promote, support and add value to the activities, programs, and services of the center; and to encourage arts appreciation and civic participation throughout the Greater Round Lake Area.
