Highpoint Park Name Change Proposed
At the November 25 Park Board meeting of the Hoffman Estates Park District (HEPD), a proposal was made to rename Highpoint Park in honor of Joseph L. Fabbrini. Fabbrini was a founder of the Hoffman Estates Park District. He served as one of its first commissioners and was its first volunteer Executive Director. Public input on this proposal will be accepted until January 27, 2015 at which time the Park Board of Commissioners will vote on the issue.
