Palatine Lions Club to host charity golf outing Aug. 27

You can still help the Palatine Lions Club raise funds that assist qualifying sight- and hearing-impaired students and adults by participating in the 27th annual Tom Dorsch Memorial Golf Outing that will be held Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Palatine Hills.

"This best ball event is a great outing. Our club enjoys hosting it and raising funds because we know what we raise goes to assisting others in our community, Illinois and throughout the world," stated Lions Club president Tony Cinquegrani. "Our club has been serving others for what will be 90 years in 2015. The golf outing is the largest fundraiser and because of its success we are able to assist many people, including providing college scholarships to local graduating students."

The club will be accepting reservations for golf up to Friday, Aug. 22. Visit www.PalatineLions.org or contact one of the co-chairs: Paul Pioch, (847) 609-5805 or Ev Charlier, (847) 359-1878 to donate a prize, make a donation or golf.
