Find a treasure at historical society's sale

The Dundee Township Historical Society invites the community to its annual "Super Spectacular Garage Sale" from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, in the museum parking lot, 426 Highland Ave. in West Dundee.

There is something for everyone: antiques, collectibles, books, vintage linens, furniture, crystal and glassware, household items, toys, Barbie dolls, sporting goods, local honey and more.

The Dundee Township Historical Society offers a variety of ways that you can volunteer, including constructing and researching information for new and existing exhibits; docents for the museum, library, bus tours, cemetery walk, house walk and other projects; character portrayal for the bus tours, cemetery walk, house walk and more.
